About Me

My story with bodywork started early. When I was a kid, my mom opened a massage and healing center on Main Street in Old Wethersfield. It was the little blue building across from Main Street Creamery, and it had this way of making people walk in one way and walk out completely different. I didn’t realize it at the time, but growing up in that environment shaped everything I’d eventually do.
In high school, I played soccer, but when I wasn’t on the field I worked behind the desk at her studio. I checked clients in, cleaned treatment rooms, folded towels, and jumped into yoga classes whenever there was space. That’s where I first learned how powerful movement, breath, and intentional touch could be.

After graduating, I became a licensed massage therapist and worked at my mom’s studio and a nearby chiropractic center. When the pandemic hit and her studio closed, my path took a huge turn. I stepped into public safety and joined Hartford Hospital, where I worked from 2020 to 2025. I started in security, grew into a supervisor role, and eventually became a K9 handler. Even during that time, I still offered occasional part-time massage sessions because that work never stopped feeling meaningful.

The day I was given the chance to retire my K9 partner, Bishop, felt like a natural turning point. It gave me the space to return to what I’ve always been passionate about. Around that time, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Afterglow in June 2025 and began teaching there. Being back in a movement-based community felt like coming home.

Today, I’m fully immersed in massage therapy and yoga again. Everything I’ve experienced, from growing up in a healing center to working through the intensity of hospital life, influences how I support people now. My focus now is creating sessions that support real change in how your body feels, functions, and moves day to day.
